Picturesque Keswick is our closest town at just over 4 miles away on good roads and offers miles of varied walking, a leisure pool, indoor climbing wall, pencil and history museums, boat trips around Derwentwater, a theatre, authentic cinema and puzzle palace. Keswick also has a wide choice of resturaunts, pubs, cafes and takeaway food outlets. Keswick has a local market on Thursdays and Saturdays around the pedestrianised Moot Hall in the town centre, alongisde numerous outdoor clothing shops. Booths is the main supermarket, with Keswick also having smaller Spar, Londis and Co-op stores. Keswick is also the nearest place for fuel, post office, banking, tourist information, library, vetinary and medical services.
